World of Conventions 4: London Film & Comic Con, London Olympia (27 July 2019)

On 27 July 2019, 27 days after my 21st birthday, I treated myself to a trip to London Olympia for London Film & Comic Con. For the first time ever, I went into cosplay. For my first cosplay, I went as the 11th Doctor (who was portrayed by Matt Smith) because I wasn't meeting Power Rangers guests this time, I met guests from Doctor Who this time around. I stayed in a Premier Inn in London for one night. No, I did not go the two days, I only went the Saturday, because if I went to London for an entire weekend, I would've blown literally all my money!

For guests that I've met, I met Jenna Coleman, who played Clara Oswald, 11 and 12's companion. With Coleman, I actually got a Diamond Pass as a birthday present from my Nan in 2019. I also met Colin Baker, who played the 6th Doctor from 1984 until 1986. And lastly, I met Sylvester McCoy, who played the 7th Doctor from 1987 up until 1989.

Ha ha! His reaction upon discovering my Doctor cosplay!

Even more experience was gained overtime in London as I took myself to a whole new level. I got some cosplayers, BUT, instead of getting pictures of them, I just included myself WITH them! Getting a selfie with 'em! Selfies, for one, are even cooler! Kicking off, I encounter PR:UK for a second time, but this time, I just got a picture of them. An hour later, this was the point where I started doing selfies with cosplayers, starting off with two super cool panda cosplayers, followed by a Jodie Whittaker cosplayer, then by a cosplayer with cat ears, then by a cosplayer with a pink umbrella (I think), then by another Harley Quinn cosplayer (Suicide Squad, not Batman of the 60's), then we have a Supergirl cosplayer (Supergirl is Superman's counterpart by the way), another cat ears cosplayer but this time with s face mask saying "Senpai", and another Jodie Whittaker cosplayer, a two hair coloured cosplayer alongside two more Jodie Whittaker cosplayers, some cosplay of which I may not know, but says "FIRE" on the shirt, an Ariel cosplayer, from the Little Mermaid, three cosplayers from the anime series My Hero Academia, Bo Peep from Toy Story 4, now, that Bo cosplayer was actually a cosplay guest: Lily on the Moon, a cosplayer dressed up as Finn the Human from Cartoon Network's Adventure Time, a Wonder Woman cosplayer alongside I think, an Obi-Wan Kenobi cosplayer from Star Wars, and the other dressed in black, I have no idea, but I think that's a Star Wars one too, Not sure if the one with pink hair is actually a cosplay, but regardless, I thought it looked good anyway, and finally, D.Va from Overwatch, but I didn't get that one in the convention itself, I got that one on the train back to Wrexham. She, too is one of my Facebook friends.

My second encounter with PR:UK

This is where it all begins! My first ever cosplayer selfie!

First Jodie Whittaker cosplayer of the convention! As seen, she's holding her own Sonic Screwdriver.

We have ourselves a cat in the convention! Just kidding! It's cosplay!

Does anybody know the name of this character with the pink umbrella? 'Cuz I don't!

As said in my previous post, it would legit be guaranteed to see another Suicide Squad Harley Quinn cosplayer!

Supergirl, the female counterpart of Superman.

*sigh* Bandits. But, anyway, this was 2019. Anyway, it was another cat-ears cosplayer.

Second run-in with a Jodie cosplayer.

Emphasis on the cosplays; no idea on the two haired cosplayer unless you guys who read this post know who the character is, and two additional Jodies. Geez, HOW MANY JODIE WHITTAKER COSPLAYERS ARE THERE!?!?!?

Again, no idea on the character name, but I know the shirt says "FIRE".

I most certainty know this one, Ariel from Disney's the Little Mermaid!

Three of our most stunning cosplayers going as characters from My Hero Academia.
NOTE: I'll have you guys know that I'm a retired anime reactor. I used to react to anime, not any more.

Lily on the Moon dressed up as the Toy Story 4 version of Bo Peep!

Finn the Human... I'll see if I can find Jake the Dog anywhere, my friend.

Wonder Woman, Obi Wan Kenobi, and hmm... might need to research the other character at some point.
NOTE: Upon taking this one, I accidentally attacked someone with my selfie stick! Whoops!

Like I said, even if I don't know the character, I still say the cosplay looks good regardless.

Ah, D.Va. I may have gotten this one on the train, but it was worth it! We would later become friends on social media.

This out of any convention was one of my best conventions yet, with 18 pictures taken, especially with cosplayers was a real effort! This was also my last convention of 2019. More are yet to come! Stay tuned!
