World of Conventions 5: Comic Con Liverpool, Liverpool Exhibition Centre (7 March 2020)


On 7 March 2020, just a few weeks before the first lockdown, I paid another visit to the Liverpool Exhibition Centre for Comic Con Liverpool. This was my second visit to the Exhibition Centre, seeing as if I enjoyed it in the previous year. There were a few changes to my picture taking game. I upgraded to an action camera, which was an AKASO V50 Elite, initially owned by my parents when they went on holiday to Cyprus in the past two years (2018 and 2019), now these are 4K powered!

This convention saw my 20th guest that I met, that was Power Rangers legend, Jason David Frank, who played Tommy Oliver, the Green/White/White Ninja/Zeo Ranger V Red/First Red Turbo/Black Dino Rangers respectively.

I created this T-shirt exclusively for this comic con, because I met JDF. This features the Green Ranger, White Ranger, Zeo Range V Red, Red Turbo Ranger, Black Dino Ranger and Lord Drakkon respectively. He even put it on his Instagram stories!

Albeit being an exciting comic con, I even got a couple cosplay pics. I started off with a not so cosplay like picture of the TARDIS, followed by another run-in with the Ironside Dalek (the same one that was offering Jelly Babies in the previous year), then I got down to business with some cosplayers, starting off with another Harley Quinn from Suicide Squad, joined by the Ice King from Adventure Time and I believe one that looks like Naruto (correct me if I'm wrong), I ran into another Power Rangers cosplay group, Scotland Power Rangers, followed, of course by my third run-in with PR:UK, then three anime cosplayers, though I have no idea of which anime, but you can let me know in the comments of this post, then I ran into another Harley Quinn (not from Suicide Squad, though) but this time, from Bird of Prey, then I ran into Lilian (Lil-Bo2 Cosplay) for a second time, this time, she was dressed as Eleven from Stranger Things, followed by Zureeal, who is another cosplayer of which I newly discovered that day, then, shortly afterward, I ran into another newfound cosplayer of mine, Rainbow Raindrop, dressed up a Jessica Rabbit, then I had a pic with Hagrid from Harry Potter, who is obviously a cosplayer dressed as him, I also ran into a cosplayer dressed as Cinderella from the 1950 Disney film, and I lastly got a picture with Jack Sparrow from the Pirates of the Caribbean film series.

Yes, this convention was a blast! Meeting new friends upon discovery on Instagram, especially running into those that I haven't seen a while. This was my only convention of 2020, because thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic, all conventions were silenced until further notice to keep the country safe. One week after Comic Con Liverpool, on 20 November 2021, after almost two years, my desire to take a trip to Telford was eventually carried out. Remember how I said on my second post that Wales Comic Con was no longer in Wrexham? Well, this is it. As of December 2019, Wales Comic Con was moved to Telford. Reasons? Because the Glyndwr University wasn't big enough for the convention. As a result, the venue was relocated to the Telford International Centre. I brought back my 11th Doctor outfit from when I went to London in July 2019 for cosplay, marking the third time I did cosplay at any comic con. World of Conventions 7: Liverpool Anime & Gaming Con, Adelphi Hotel (16 October 2021)

Three months later, on 16 October 2021, seeing as if I enjoyed Liverpool Anime & Gaming Con so much, I went there again in the Adelphi Hotel. Again, no media guests, just cosplayers. Just like the previous post, this will only feature cosplayer pictures, since this is cosplayers only. We start off with two single selfies with pother cosplayers. Followed by a double cosplayer selfie, one which was dressed as Cinderella, than another double selfie. And another single, but with one holding somewhat of a Minecraft sword. In the outdoors, I got a double selfie with two cosplayers, no harm in taking them outside the convention, no? Followed by yet another single cosplayer selfie back in the convention, then another double cosplayer selfie, then three singles in a row, followed by a triple, then a double, then a single, who was dressed as Ariel from the Little Mermaid, but, that variant was wearing a yellow dress. World of Conventions 10: Wales Comic Con; Telford Takeover, Telford International Centre (2 April 2022)

On Christmas Day 2021, I got tickets to Wales Comic Con; Telford Takeover, and a place to meet David Tennant, who played the 10th Doctor from 2005 up until 2010. So, on 2 April 2022, my 10th Comic Con overall went underway, as for cosplay, I went as the 10th Doctor! Guests wise, I met David Tennant (obviously, I said this just now), and Catherine Tate, who played Donna Noble, the 10th Doctor's companion. I also revisited Paul McGann (from Telford of November 2021) and Sylvester McCoy (from London of July 2019). My photo-op with David Tennant NOTE: This was one of my most legendary moments!
