World of Conventions 6: Liverpool Anime & Gaming Con, Adelphi Hotel (17 July 2021)
On 17 July 2021, just 16 months after lockdown, Comic Cons were open to the public again. So, I decided to attend Liverpool Anime & Gaming Con, it may be in Liverpool, but in a location I've never visited before: the Adelphi Hotel! Now, compared to the other conventions I went to, there were no guests from film and/or TV shows, just cosplayers. It was a lovely summer's day, and people were getting out again, despite COVID-19 still being around, though, some restrictions were dropped.
Since this is a cosplayers only post, this section of photos will only include the cosplayers. But, before we get into this, I just want to let you know, that the AKASO V50 Elite sustained a nasty crack on the touchscreen, I sadly lost the ability to use it completely. Replacing it, I used the AKASO Brave 7 LE. Enough of my rambling, let's just get into this! Starting off, I get a double down with two cosplayers, and then another two. Then, I took myself to the great outdoors, where I could get a couple of selfies with a couple of cosplayers. After lunch, I headed back to the Adelphi to try and hunt more cosplayers to get a pic or two with 'em. During this, I managed to get a picture with a female Naruto cosplayer, followed by three consecutive cosplayers in one room. During one period, I watched violinist Lucia La Rezza, she was amazing, I remember she even played "They're Taking the Hobbits to Isengard"! I even bought a rubber band bracelet and her CD "Busker Quest" from her stall, and then boom! I got a pic with her! After that, I got another indoor selfie with another cosplayer, then another outdoor one, which goes by the name Sweet Custard Prince (who cosplays Megumin of Komo Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo!). Back indoors, I got a triple selfie with three cosplayers (one was dressed up as a character from Adventure Time, but you can't see it, sadly, because I couldn't capture that part), then two additional double cosplayer pics indoors, followed by another outdoor selfie, back outdoors again with another triple cosplayer one, then another single cosplayer selfie. One of them even admired my voice, of which I never had a compliment like that ever in my life before, like, ever! I hanged out at the Cosplay Masquerade waiting room to interact with a few cosplayers in the room, and I even grabbed a selfie with 'em, good call, that! And lastly, I grabbed one more double cosplayer selfie inside the Liverpool Train Station (though, I can't quite remember which one it was!).
