World of Conventions 8: Comic Con Liverpool, Liverpool Exhibition Centre (13 November 2021)


About a month after attending Liverpool Anime & Gaming Con, on 13 November 2021, I paid another visit to the Liverpool Exhibition Centre for 2021's Comic Con Liverpool event. I did cosplay for a second time, but with a twist, I did my first ever female to male cosplay experiment, as a result, I went as Meg Griffin from Family Guy.

Unlike any comic con, I wasn't feeling very motivated, because I lost two guests who were going to attend the event, but had to cancel. I was going to meet Patrick Warburton, who voiced Joe Swanson from Family Guy, but he cancelled his appearance, because, I'm guessing with COVID, travelling is very situational. I was also going to meet Peyton List, who played Tory Nichols in Cobra Kai, also Emma Ross in Disney Channel's Jessie and Bunk'd, but she and the resto of the Cobra Kai cast had to cancel for filming commitments for Season 5 of Cobra Kai. But in constellation, I revisited Steve Cardenas (from the Comic Con in March 2019) instead, only to get his autograph.

Having feeling gloomy about losing the two guests I was hoping to meet, I only had limited number of photos with cosplayers, starting off with a cosplayer dressed as Merida from the Pixar film Brave, followed by I think, a Poison Ivy cosplayer along with another cosplayer, then, Princess Daisy in Mario Tennis form and another Harley Quinn cosplayer from Suicide Squad.

I am Merida, first born of Clan DunBroch, and I'll be shooting for my own hand!

Though, I was saddened to have lost the chance to meet Peyton and Patrick, I still had an alright time. If you didn't know, Peyton List will be attending Comic Con Liverpool on 21 May 2022, so I'll be meeting her then. I transferred my tickets to have her autograph and photo-op then, so expect that in a couple of posts time. Be on the lookout for future adventures in my World of Conventions!

One week after Comic Con Liverpool, on 20 November 2021, after almost two years, my desire to take a trip to Telford was eventually carried out. Remember how I said on my second post that Wales Comic Con was no longer in Wrexham? Well, this is it. As of December 2019, Wales Comic Con was moved to Telford. Reasons? Because the Glyndwr University wasn't big enough for the convention. As a result, the venue was relocated to the Telford International Centre. I brought back my 11th Doctor outfit from when I went to London in July 2019 for cosplay, marking the third time I did cosplay at any comic con. For guests in this convention, to make up for not meeting the two guests at Comic Con Liverpool in the previous week, I decided to get the autograph of voice actor John DiMaggio, who voiced Bender in Futurama. World of Conventions 7: Liverpool Anime & Gaming Con, Adelphi Hotel (16 October 2021)

Three months later, on 16 October 2021, seeing as if I enjoyed Liverpool Anime & Gaming Con so much, I went there again in the Adelphi Hotel. Again, no media guests, just cosplayers. Just like the previous post, this will only feature cosplayer pictures, since this is cosplayers only. We start off with two single selfies with pother cosplayers. Followed by a double cosplayer selfie, one which was dressed as Cinderella, than another double selfie. And another single, but with one holding somewhat of a Minecraft sword. In the outdoors, I got a double selfie with two cosplayers, no harm in taking them outside the convention, no? Followed by yet another single cosplayer selfie back in the convention, then another double cosplayer selfie, then three singles in a row, followed by a triple, then a double, then a single, who was dressed as Ariel from the Little Mermaid, but, that variant was wearing a yellow dress. World of Conventions 10: Wales Comic Con; Telford Takeover, Telford International Centre (2 April 2022)

On Christmas Day 2021, I got tickets to Wales Comic Con; Telford Takeover, and a place to meet David Tennant, who played the 10th Doctor from 2005 up until 2010. So, on 2 April 2022, my 10th Comic Con overall went underway, as for cosplay, I went as the 10th Doctor! Guests wise, I met David Tennant (obviously, I said this just now), and Catherine Tate, who played Donna Noble, the 10th Doctor's companion. I also revisited Paul McGann (from Telford of November 2021) and Sylvester McCoy (from London of July 2019). My photo-op with David Tennant NOTE: This was one of my most legendary moments!
